Mental Health Humor and Cartoons

I’ve often been defined as one who “goes by a different drummer” or he “likes to go “against the grain.” It is true that being Bipolar - some times gives me the freedom from conformity and I’m sure my Dyslexia play a part… Yet in the end, I would rather lead then have to follow. Thus that is also the reason I got to the low places and dark moments of this road called mental illness… But I wonder, can people control how you act? In the video that my friend from http//:menatlhealthnotes.com showed me, you can see how a little Elevator Psychology can effect people.

Family Fun; C’est Bon Pour La Santé (it’s good for your health.) Your Mental Health Day Off.

Well, today is a special day for all my new friends world-wide… I’ll tell you right now if you are not happy as you read this post today then you are still in the right place… O.k.

First, lets start off with a surprise… Yes, I like to write Vers Libre Poetry (free style) with a sonnet feel to them. Tonight, well I should say this morning, since 4:57 AM EST, and I’ve been up all night again… but back to what I was saying… I like to write and I found this poem I wrote a few years ago and I thought it would go great with today’s special POST… A small tribute to my kids via the poem and although, you don’t see them in the video, make no mistake they were there, each one dressed up like Little Sister… You will see in the video.

Today’s cartoon is from my other series called “The Family Stew” and it’s just in time for Summer… So, read my poem and smile at the cartoon. Then hold on to your cookies watching the video… (warning: people with weak bladders should avoid the video for your own safety.)

What Lays A Head

What lays a head can never be left behind, like the dawn of a new day refreshing the air. They are the future of my namesake the seed of my line.

Each one unique and to me ever so divine, my Buddy, my Sweet Pea, my Precious, and Belly, names of endearment filled with love that over whelms spoken from a father’s love.

Each moment is filled with laughter of my four gifts from my wife. Together we are a family, forever a tie. Our hearts teeming with love for each one special, unique, and innocent.

True, true, true are the words spoken of the children. For with out them we are lacking and with them we are whole.
