Mental Health Humor: 5 Questions Fridays Twist
Mental Health Humor: 5 Questions Fridays Twist-
So another week passes. I’m still here and you are still here. So, I think we are doing something right or you’re computer is broken. Man time flies so fast. I was just thinking about my High School days. Here take a look at 18 years ago… Look, I had hair and the mustache I had since I was11…
Today’s 5 Questions Fridays is going to be a little twist… We want to put you on the spot about humor. Your answers may be used in a lecture / speech I’m working on that I will using going around to local mental health organizations and groups. The concept will be using humor to heal. This idea is the very core of the blog and the cartoons. I have always believed that “A heart that is joyful does good as a curer”, or simply put “humor to heal”.
I’m still working on the title and every thing else… lol But I would like to include you, my most faithful readers to be part of my routine. That way, if it bombs, I can blame it on all of you.
The only thing you have to do is answer the 5 questions below by leaving a comment. Now I need every one to answer at least on question.
1. What is your personal definition of a “sense of humor”?
2. How important is humor in your mental health recovery?
3. Our goal is to be able to add one smile to your day with the cartoons. What cartoon gave you the biggest smile?
4. We are not only about the cartoons. We hope to help educate others about different disorders and give a different perspective to mental illness. Did you learn anything about a mental disorder?
5. Tell us what Mental Health Humor cartoons have done for you personally? Have the cartoons helped you in any way deal with a problem? Have we been able to give you a little lift when you needed it?
This will be an on-going project till I am done with the speech, so feel free to comment and add your voice.
