Mental Health Humor - Signs of Depression

Hi, just finished day three and what a day! We are learning ways to help others understand the way a RPS can help in the recovery program. This included going over not just understanding how to see a problem but ways to help the consumer recgonize his main obstacle or problem and work it out, then advocate his needs. A term that was used was P.I.C.B.A - Problem - Impact - Cost - Benefits - Action. This would be one way we can help a consumer recgonize something that might be holding him or her back from her recovery…Is there anything holding you back from reaching your recovery goals? Something to work out and discuss to help you get on track!

We are not focused on help with the illness rather the person… That was one main Idea, help the person first. I will get into it more later. Right now the kids are telling me the PIZZA is here. Sorry, for the typos, my wife will edit this later… I just needed to post it while I can use the hotel’s computer…
