Mental Health Humor: Anger Management - Yelling Over Split Milk
Mental Health Humor: Anger Management - Yelling Over Split Milk:
Are you a ticking time bomb? Do you snap at the littlest things? Do you feel like your way of doing things is the right way, and if some one doesn’t like it, then too bad, it’s my way or the highway! Do you have fist holds in your walls or does furniture seem to fly around a lot? When some one cuts you off while driving do feel the need to retaliate?
Every one of these questions I can answer yes to, and if you live with a mood disorder chances are you can answer yes to them too and you might even be able to add a lot more to that list.
All the books and research say we need to be controlling anger, before it controls us. In the real world, how can one do that? Our “issues” make us prone to rage, and our moods some times become so uncontrollable that not even medications can can help.
Now here is a good point to keep in mind, it is called anger “management” not anger “cure”… Why? Simple, anger is normal, it’s the anger that has no reason or control, that is what needs to be put in check.
So, how do we do that? It depends on who’s theory you follow. Some believe in the “let it all out” method while others want you to talk it out… Both have there ups and downs and depending on what publications you read they each have psychologists telling what is right and wrong.
This is what I know, we are each very different from each other, and anger and rage can be linked to so many horrifying and traumatic experiences that there is no one solution to the problem. This requires us, to do the work, we need to step up to the plate not through it! The over all consensus is that we need to identify our problem. Now solving might not be possible right away or ever. That is why we need to develop good managing skills. Such as Relaxation techniques, removing us from the problem, the ol’ count to ten, and even using humor. And never be shy about getting some real counseling.
What do you do when when you get mad…

Thankfully, I have no yes answers to those questions
Some of my friends would describe me sometimes as too pathetic, or unexcitable since I do not react too fast, only probably when I see beautiful places and people that would cause my heart to pump so fast and get excited
but in times of trouble, you can count on me
as I do not lose my mind easily.
Oh, one thing I forgot, that tingles my excitement, a dose of HUMOR, hihihi. Laughter, is the best medicine eh?
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me a comment, and also for sharing your concern about my photos not having watermark. I know I should, but sometimes, I am too lazy to add more work
