Mental Health Humor Cartoons Art Class

Anyway want a caricature done? Right now ,I’m taking names and photos and each week will try and draw it. As I said before I’m now taking an art class on Mondays. What I did not tell you is that I’ll be studying with a local Master Artist. He has seen my work and does not want to just teach me cartooning… Although, his experience is incredible… Or should I say super! He was the cartoonist for a few Marvel Comics..

After reviewing my small body of work, he wants to teach me fine art… I was flattered when he said it… He sees a lot of talent but he said I lack technique. So, I’ll be working on that but his class costs money I don’t have but I will never again get an opportunity like this in my life time. See Murray is 83 years old and is not just a cartoonist, and fine artist but he was also an art teacher and his level of experience and knowledge is untouched.

So, when he asked if I will be able to pay his fee… One he lowered so I could afford it… I said I’ll find a way.

Back to the caricature, see when I get enough practice and fix the problems i’m having drawing them…. I will stop offering them for free… My goal is to get out of the house and go down to the park and draw them for tips (suggested $10.00) . Then use that money to pay for all the supplies and the fee for studying with this master.

Until then, I will be doing free online caricatures for friends and my blog readers… If you want me to send them to you, I will.. you’ll just have to pick up the cost and if you are feeling extra generous and want to toss in a tip, well that will be up to you.

To get on my list so I can pratice drawing just post a comment or e-mail me. I’ll need a good picture and it had to be at least an 4×6 or 8×10.
